The coin retains its original coat of silvering. It is approximately 22mm in diameter. Obverse: radiate head of Diocletian right; IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIAVS AVG.

Reverse: Diocletian, draped and cuirassed, standing right, holding parazonium (imperial dagger) or scepter in right hand, receiving Victory from Jupiter standing left holding scepter; CONCORDIA MIL-ITUM; B in field; XXI.
